    Frequently Asked Questions

What does a dysregulated Nervous System feel like?

Dysregulation presents as a lack of rhythmic flow in your life.  You will find that the inner experience is an all on, or all off, feeling.  One aspect gives the feeling of being anxious - not being able to settle down; noticing constant muscle tension; breath holding or tightness, while the other side may feel like you are unable to meet the challenges in your life.  A lack of motivation for simple tasks, heaviness, low muscle tone, and/or constant fatigue.

    How does dysregulation develop?

We can have a sudden and shocking event, such as a concussion, accident, medical procedure, receive news that threatens our sense of well being, or, we can be subject to constant low levels of stress that accumulate over time. In most people, the Nervous System is very flexible, but sometimes, it needs support to recover from life’s event
